I wanted to capture that moody feeling of storm clouds overcoming golden sunset over choppy waters. I have done many oil paintings to get this effect and after many hours logged working resin and learning its secrets, I wanted to try and get the same effect using only resin, and it was exhilarating doing that. I had to work incredibly fast before the resin started to harden, but the wispy effects on the clouds are even better than I imagined. Substrate: 1" Pinewood Mediums: Acrylic base coat, metallic gold leaf, resin top coat Comes ready to hang. Sides are resin poured to match.
