Graceful Awakening Painting

It is with clear direction that I seek to capture onto canvas, those glowing stunning moments I have witnessed naturally happening with Mother Nature's own palette transforming the sky and reflecting over the sea. My own soul becomes awakened & wrapped up in the meditative sights and sounds while watching the fascinating colors melting onto the backdrops transforming enlightening subject matter for my oceanscape paintings. Having lived in South Florida my entire life I've been lucky enough to often witness these shimmering sunrises & sunsets brewing over the coastal waters. I appreciate the depth and fearlessness of quietly speaking to the ocean with my mind then happily executing those thoughts into my art, with my acrylics, pastels, oil paints and favorite sable hair paintbrushes. I'm most in tune with nature when walking along the water's edge. I'm most at peace when dipping my toes into the sea. I find that my spirit is connected to all this. Each time I drag my easel & art supplies onto that soft sand to start my newest creation, I can't help but feel thankful to have this gift I've been given. To be able to notice what is right in front of us all. To be able to recharge my own energy so effortlessly. To be able to translate what I'm experiencing in present time so innocently onto a canvas. To be able to present my artwork to you to reach and touch that place inside your mind & heart that accepts that natural energy emitting from my paintings. I have found my spirit and the reason why I exist! That's what life is really all about!
