I love and adore cats (dogs, birds, and tarantulas too!) I have adopted many special needs cats over the years, because I am home mostly painting so it's easy to care for them. This has led to some amazing friendships. I painted 4 of the cats that stand out in my mind. The siamese was Timmy, she had a cerebellar hypoplasia, basically a motor skills neuro-disorder - she was the greatest cat I've ever known. The vet gave her a year at most of life and she lived for 7! This painting is done in acrylics and framed in a nifty wood frame. :) If you have any questions, just ask!
