Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Wood.

The Fulton Market area in Chicago's West Loop is on the rise with new constructions and also the demolition of old buildings. I'm drawn to how building demolitions reveal hidden ruins in varied shapes and color patterns. This, in my opinion, gives such great character to a city that's just full of Architectural history.

These architectural paintings are created around the structural elements of buildings and how they share and cohabitate the negative space around them.
