ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For this canvas, I chose the vertical format more suited to the subject represented. To treat it in the most abstract way possible, I played with the ambiguity of shapes, colors and especially materials, using very dilute acrylic to paint solid elements. The colors in wash suggest the liquid element but are worn by forms evoking branches, it could also be an aquatic organism, the framing on the motif not allowing to apprehend the object in its entirety, the subjective interpretation of its nature remains intact.
