Though pursuing a doctorate in Science, I have always had a tremendous inclination towards art since childhood. But there is always a particular time for particular things to happen in life, and therefore, joining an art school or pursuing art as a career never occurred to me. So I have never been to an art school and feel happy to be a self taught artist and feel privileged with immense gratitude to Lord Almighty for blessing me with this skill. But at the same time, I would also like to give some contribution for my interest, to my genetic constitution. Here comes an introduction of my late maternal grandfather Mr.D.B.Seth, who was an accomplished artist of his time. He was honored with several awards for his contribution to the field by Government of India. You can find information about him on wikepedia. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to learn from him as by the time I grew up and discovered my interests he had already left for his heavenly abode. I am only left with a handful vivid memories of his art studio with few of his paintings. I work with all kinds of mediums such as oil, water colors, acrylics. My artworks are made using best quality materials with great passion and dedication. I don’t have many artworks to show but whatever I have are done with lots of patience and concentration.
