HEARTSTONES Painting

Rebecca is an Abstract Painter and an Actor . Her Art is expressive and gestural using colour and shape . During her practice she tries to connect with whatever is going on artistically within her .Holding states of being and then "getting out of her own way" and seeing what happens as the paint hits the paper . She believes It is in the gaps between conscious thoughts ,where life and creativity grow and happen. Having studied Life drawing in a variety of places , she then did a Fine Art Foundation at Richmond School of Art . She has subsequently been self-taught . She has been a professional Actor since her youth, working across all mediums . Appearing in BBC Dramas on screen and on stage in London's West End and recently at the Royal Shakespeare Company . She had her first exhibition in 2020 just prior to lockdown and her 2nd was online at the end of the year .She is also a Poet and a Life Coach .
