The season offers a world wind of pleasure. From the scorching heat from the sun, the irresistible cool breeze and the sweet taste of tropical fruit. 'Heat wave' is a original painting that embodies the feeling of a contemporary summer. Bella Hadid has motivated this piece as she is a modern staple during summer time. Her strong presence is captivating as she heavily influences our pop culture. I have used quality acrylic paint to create the colourful setting and oil paints to create the model. I have had multiple internal battles with what art I wanted to create and which style I identified with. I have been so torn with my art as there was an urge to be expressive with abstract painting, allowing myself to free flow on a canvas. However, the another side of me wanted more detail, effort and just 'perfect'. My mixed style allows me to truly communicate the type of artist I am.
