About The Artwork

(hipporesponsibility While working on the self portrait, I understood that I would like to get deeper into my weaknesses and negative parts of myself, which I subconsciously reveal in my paintings anyway. So, a number of future artworks will be devoted to the acceptance of some negative side of my own personality. And the series itself will be called Self-Acceptance. All in all, I use such toy alike images to those negative traits to show that they can be easily tackled and accepted. The 10th and final painting of this series again reflects the bordering trait of being too much responsible. The question is what level or amount of responsibility is adequate for achieving success but not overwhelming. While many people get rid of taking charge of their lives, I naturally tend to control things happening in my life. My idea is to give up being a control freak and let things happen but still being high-quality and be less demanding to myself. Thus, the disadvantage can turn into a necessary personal characteristic.
