The seeds of inspiration of my work came at an early age working for my family business of weaving ropes and nets. The business started from humble beginnings, with many sacrifices being made to grow and the company over the years in order to develop evermore colourful, intricate and technical products. My artwork and concepts have developed in parallel, gaining in complexity and visual impact. Many of the materials in each of my art pieces are specially made for me by my family in Madrid. This sense of family pride encourages me to develop and elevate this heritage of weaving into an ever expanding creative environment.
