Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

Cezannes liked to paint apples. It was the time of impressionism. The apple rots faster than you have finished the painting, so you have to hurry up and catch the impression.
That's over. Now we have consumerism. That's the opposite of Impressionism.
The hamburger replaces the apple. The good thing: To paint a hamburger you theoretically have endless time. An industrially produced Burger still looks the same after one year as when you bought it. If it mummifies faster than expected, you just buy a new one that looks exactly like old ones.

This painting is part of the project "Hamburger" shown:
2015 Galleria Rizzi & Ritter, Milano
2013 Addict Galerie-Paris
2013 Kunstverein Ahaus D, Villa de Bank Enschede NL
