ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece of work was a continuation of an earlier series of paintings inspired by Mondian paintings. It is hoped that this work will radtate a relaxed tranquil feeling and peace of mind. The advantage of using quick drying acrylics to use several layers to result in the rich texture. I wanted it to be a unique style and rounded the corners which seems to have worked. Also experimenting with different arrangements of vibrant colours and defining the arrangement with the darker background. Each abstract cube carefully hand painted and individual. The rich feeling of the gold metallic which could symbolize the statue, often gilded of the Buddha.
