ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As a former Interior Designer, the part I liked best was mixing patterns and colors. It was always the best when a client liked a bit of an odd mix. This painting was inspired by the wallpaper design of Australian designer Anna Spiro. I fell in love with the pattern and mixed in a spotted pot and a hot pink Ikat tablecloth for good measure. This is a very contemporary take on a still life.
