Hares are the subject of many country myths. While they may be the fastest thing on four legs in the UK, their mad March courtship rituals give them staying power in folktales. The hare is, by turn, said to be cunning, benign, romantic and - in spring - mad.

This drawing on silk, drawn in ink and watercolour, muted and translucent, is mounted on cable-hung toughened glass, ready to hang.

It can also be mounted as a free-standing panel on a wooden base - if you'd prefer this, just ask.
