About The Artwork
I discovered this very anthropomorphic tree I was drawn to the tortured appearance of the tree, which has now begun to disintegrate even more than when I first discovered it in 2007.on a dirt road in Northern Vermont, 25 miles from the Canadian border. I hope viewers find it as startling and unexpected as I do. It has such a human gesture and expression. Medium: acrylic on linen. I paint neither realistically, nor abstractly, but representationally. Created in 2007.
