About The Artwork
Created in my Bushwick studio, Brooklyn, NYC after Hurricane Sandy, I used sand from world famous Rockaway Beach- which had been torn apart by the hurricane. Incorporating polymer and limestone with the weather worn silicate sand to create a sand stone world on canvas which capture the ephemeral forces of wind and rain as an artifact of Earth and Time.
