Mount Everest, also known as Sagarmatha, Qomolangma and Shenmufeng, is the highest peak on Earth, 8848 meters above sea level. the mountain looks like a three-sided pyramid. On the southern side, the slope and ribs are so steep that neither glaciers nor snow can support them. The rock wall is not covered with snow, but all the other edges are covered with glaciers.
