Wyniki tłumaczenia My paintings are the result of experience in working with fabric, photography and computer graphics. All these artistic disciplines influenced my vision and my creative work. I want to show the volatility of such phenomena as fog, frost, flash, shining.

Sara Jot Jaśkiewicz is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationships between form, emotion, and identity. In her work, she investigates the language of symbols and the tension between the organic and the synthetic. Her art balances between abstraction and corporeality, using form as a metaphor for internal states. Red — a sign of life, energy, and pain — often recurs as the emotional axis of her narrative. Fascinated by the complexity of the human psyche, she creates visual labyrinths that lead the viewer deep into introspection. She graduated from the European Academy of Art in Warsaw and the Fine Arts High School in Kielce (Textiles Faculty), receiving the award for the best diploma in Artistic Weaving. Her practice combines deep conceptual reflection with material experimentation. She completed her diploma with honors in the graphic studio of Julian Pałka, one of the pioneers of the Polish School of Posters — a long-time Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and laureate of the 1968 International Poster Biennale (awarded alongside Andy Warhol). She also studied under Franciszek Starowieyski, whose mystical and surreal approach to image-making profoundly shaped her artistic sensitivity. “During my studies,” she writes, “I had the privilege of learning from two iconic artists. Julian Pałka taught me the power of visual minimalism as a vehicle for complex psychological and social messages. Franciszek Starowieyski shaped my sense of mystical, corporeal, and poetic narration. Their legacy remains a foundation for my work — rooted in introspection, subconscious fragmentation, and the tension between visibility and concealment.” Her works have been exhibited in Poland, France, the UK, Norway, Italy, China, Spain, Hungary, and Belgium. She lived in Budapest for several years and now resides in Warsaw, Poland. Instagram sarajotjaskiewicz where you can see her latest works. The artist regularly posts her current paintings there.
