My art has always been informed by Hockney, Escher, Kahlo, Rothko and Haring. These are some of my favourite artists and whose work I come back to time and time again. 'Holding Hands'* is a beautiful take on the human form. Simplified down to basic strokes it has taken me years of working through paintings, graphic design and intricate drawings to arrive at this stage. I choose mediums that can keep up with my movements without losing strokes or gestures. Whether it be acrylic paints, markers or pencil. They need to be able to capture the moment whenever it finds me. *A3 230g grey recycled paper signed on front.
