Holiday Motel Painting by Erica Hauser

From a trip to Las Vegas last summer, the first time I've been there. So many wonderful signs to photograph and imagine as future paintings. This one I had to paint right away, and I've made several (smaller) versions of it. This is the Holiday Motel sign's bright sunny day look, It looks different at night with its neon lights so I may do yet another version. (And yes I visited the Neon Boneyard. Basically built the trip around that!)
The surface is lightly textured painted canvas. Heavy-duty stretcher bars with corner braces. Wired on back to hang from wire or on two nails/screws.
