This painting was inspired by the Tugendhat House of Mies van der Rohe. Its idea of minimalistic forms and glass walls, that can be sunk into the ground to open the interior into nature, is used to build up a surreal composition, that combines open space, the freedom of nature and the shelter and warmth of a home. Borders and blockades are raised so that exterior and interior can flow.
