Horizon 55 Painting

Growing up on the New Jersey shore, I have always been humbled and inspired by the ocean. The water and nature influence so much of my work. As a painter, my work is focused on creating abstract landscapes that evoke feelings of peace and serenity. I use a combination of watercolors and water-soluble paints to create my pieces, which allows me to capture the fluidity and movement of nature in a unique and expressive way. My abstract landscapes are meant to be a reflection of the world around us, but not an exact representation. They are a representation of the essence of nature, and the emotions and feeling it invokes. I believe that art should not only be visually pleasing, but also emotionally resonant, and this is what I strive to achieve in my paintings. I am continually inspired by the beauty and simplicity of the natural world, and I hope that my paintings can provide a sense of calm and peace to those who view them. I believe that art has the ability to inspire and uplift, and I am dedicated to creating work that has this power. My process begins with studying the natural world, taking inspiration from the colors, textures, and forms that I see around me. I then translate these observations into my paintings, using loose brushstrokes and a minimal color palette to create a sense of tranquility.
