For this series, Christel was inspired by science, fascinated by the number PI, this infinite succession of decimals, she explores its rhythm by creating a color code. Using the sequences of numbers to choose the order of its colors or the width of its lines. Unique signed work, ready to hang.

Biography Christel Delrieu Petraud is an internationally established mid-career artist who currently lives and works in Toulouse, France. Her inquisitive mind finds her inspiration mainly in fields such as science, travel and the human being. Christel has continued to develop radically new and innovative approaches to painting in which she mixes mathematical logic and “letting go” to explore her favorite fields: the composition of space, matter and time. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows as well as in art fairs in Europe or USA. Her works are part ofimportant collections such as the Palestinian Museum of the United States, Connecticut. «My endless questioning about human nature and the world around us stems from aninsatiable curiosity and a utopian search for truth. I believe it is necessary to represent the immaterial. Art allows me to offer my interpretation of truth in images to see the invisible | construct the immaterial | capture time In any case : offer another point of view.» She allows us to see, through her deconstructions of the infinitely small or infinitely big, things that the human eye cannot usually see. She thus gives us access to unsuspected parallel universes, by making them palpable. She collaborates with iconic nowadays scientists and has developed ascientific and esthetic matrix language. Her work, as educational as pictorial, teaches us humility and informs us on our relationship to our environment. Reviews about artwoks by others. “Art is a universal language. It speaks to us, moves us and invokes feelings and emotions within us without ever uttering a word. Christel Petraud created her own alphabet to speak back. Her work is incredible on every level.” Fadi Elsalameen, political commentator, op-ed writer, non-resident Fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and businessman, Washington DC "As in the words of the great Albert Einstein. Imagination is more important than knowledge. After a certain high level of technical skill is achieved, science and art tend to coalesce in esthetics, plasticity and form. The work of Christel Pétraud matches that The greatest scientists as they are always artists as well." Newton Howard, doctor, Washington DC
