About The Artwork
This is an original painting of a Highland Cow in the summer light of a lush green field. Peaking out from under its long hair, the cow stares at the viewer. Layers of acrylic are roughly built up using brushes and palette knives to create a textured finish. A saturated palette brings colour to the image. The background is made up of a great variety of greens, yellows and browns. This artwork comes as canvas stapled on to a wooden frame. It can be hung straight on the wall, or framed.
