Painting: Enamel, Acrylic, Oil, Spray Paint, Ink on Canvas.
Traveling in Provence a few years ago, we went south to the Camargue, a fascinating wetlands area between the Mediterranean and the Rhone, over 400 species of bird, and famous for the Camargais, gorgeous white horses ridden by the gardians, "cowboys', who live simply in small houses, and tend to bulls exported to Spain for bullfighting. This piece is my recollection of one of those small , rustic homes in the Camargue. Layers of oil. acrylic, ink, and spray paint, 2 coats of varnish, all applied kind of wildly, not unlike the experience there. Sides of the painting finished flat white. Hanging hardware included.
