How Dreams Come True Painting

Anna is a UK-based visual artist with a scientific background. Her specialisms are inter-disciplinary, combining my academic achievements with creative, cultural and humanitarian studies. ActiveBase Art paintings are predominantly organic subjects, displayed with a colour pallet which reflects the aesthetic of the information age. Experiments with translucent layers of acrylic colours and a flexible canvas have prompted the development of Anna's 'Genuine Profile' methodology, in which I begin a painting by putting the canvas on to the physical subject to capture the naturally occurring shapes. Anna has developed a personal philosophy, which combines artistic techniques with business strategies. This has enabled her to develop ActiveBase Art as a private limited company, engaging with social and environmental discourse to visually respond to the effects of humanity on the planet.
