Hurts Painting

Luca Granato is a visual artist. He lives and works in Calabria, South Italy. He first completed scientific studies, then graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro with a specialization in Painting. A multidisciplinary artist, he is interested in visual experimentation and the materialization of language, collaborating with public and private entities, galleries and art foundations. Since 2020 he has been the artistic director of the Trame art studio, a space for research on present phenomena and instances. His research is a study on man and for man. Starting from a reflection on the human condition and the internal dynamics of the space of existence, his works are a matter of meditation on the limit and violence of mechanical states of consciousness. I am a multidisciplinary artist, engaged in visual experimentation and in the manipulation of perception through forms and concepts in space. My work through form and matter is a study on man and for man. Starting from a reflection on the human condition and on the internal dynamics of the space of existence, matter is transcended and translated into another dimension, taking on a new meaning: one wonders what is the limit of living and what the intrinsic contradictions entail to exist. My work moves within the subtle distance between creating the world and experiencing it.
