ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is oil pastel on acrylic on canvas. I use 1.5" deep stretchers to give the painting a solidity on the wall. The oil pastel colors are all laid over black acrylic so the black shows through in a weathered sort of way. Like nature. If I could make paintings as beautiful as nature, I would be ecstatic.
