Art Description

Painting: Gouache, Gesso, Watercolor, Ink on Paper.

The work “Hypothesis6” is a folio of my recent project "Seeing & Believing" in which I am crafting false stories, rendered in traditional Mughal features, discussing the idea of perception and its endings against our belief on history/historical images. Through this series of works, fetching the debate in society upon the reality and truth in History, against that we assume our judgments in order to set the standards.

As native of Pakistan, we generally face the issues around credibility-authenticity that illegible the legality of our independent move altogether, consequently that eventually cause of disgrace. This body of works is a reaction against transnational perception created through fabricated propaganda by some dominating modes of production
