About The Artwork
This piece is made from a mix of wood, spray enamel, silk screen, and resin. The figure in the bed is a relief that sits approximately 1.5" away from the base. It's large in size but relatively light in weight and easy to hang. The work was built/painted right after buying a house on my own and living in it alone. I was overwhelmed and a little scared. Pulling the covers close every night felt comforting.
