Recipes 4 Survival is the foundation for a number of spin -off bodies of work I'm currently working on. For this series, 'Brown Baggin' It' I paint ingredients, food & or various sundries onto the brown paper bags the purchases came in. I love how this project dovetails with the mission and central concept of Recipes 4 Survival - to be mindful, resourceful, & economical, maintaining basic staples and to use materials 'at hand'.
