ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This series are inspired by the collective trauma: the first time, one must face its own identity is after a parental figure or an authority sent it to the corner to "think about what you've done!". I believe, this trauma takes identity down a spiral: the connection between self-awareness and being grounded, to be ashamed. The corner symbolizes both world: the one we are banned to live in, and our own inner world. The corner isn't only three dimensons meeting point isn't only a surface to project things to, but it becomes the border of self-discovery, the social, generational, historical limit of ones.
