ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I'd just returned from a visit to the Etosha game reserve in Namibia. It had rained recently and the desert was changed into greens, grays, beige and oranges. I used these colors to create my totem animal—the elephant. The symbols in the background are African and carry messages of love and hope to the world.
