About The Artwork
Tried to create another one piece of the "Sardinian murales". The colours on the background were chosen with awareness of outward creepiness of the character, in order to bring the brightness and highlight his good significance. I support the theory that the tradition of Mamuthones started in the days of nuragic culture as part of pagan rituals to worship gods that protect the animals from bad spirits and help the shepherds to gather the herd.
