Idan I: Lust In The Dark Painting

""Lust In The Dark" is the first artwork in "Idan" series, inspired by the journey into the darkest side of oneself influenced by substances. This artwork consists of two pieces of art: "She Lust In The Dark" and "He Lust In The Dark", each 60 x 80 cm (120 x 80 sm together). This artwork represents an eternal polar connection between the opposites, fueled by raw desire. She teases him with mystery (symbolized by the hat and the crossed legs), poise and a call for attention (her position on the table), and he explodes with love-turned-to-action (symbolized by the arrow from the heart and his hands on the table, ready to overturn it). Shiva and Shakti, a creator and a muse, a destroyer and a lady freedom, a man and a woman - together they make the world spin. For unknown to me reason, I have always had a very difficult relationship with accepting the people who abuse the substances of all kinds.
