ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In "Ideal," I embraced the spontaneity and joy that comes from allowing a painting to evolve organically. The process of layering, peeling, and reapplying acrylic paint created a rich, tactile surface that invites the viewer to explore its textures and forms. The predominantly white canvas serves as a blank slate, where figures seem to emerge and disappear, leaving much to the imagination. The figures, who seem to be either walking or flying, are vibrant splashes of color against the neutral background, suggesting movement and freedom. The ambiguity of their forms—whether they are two men and a woman or something else entirely—allows each viewer to bring their own interpretation to the piece. "Ideal" is light-hearted and playful, a reminder that art can be a space for imagination, where not everything needs to be defined or understood. Instead, it’s about the experience of seeing and feeling, of finding joy in the unexpected and the unstructured.
