Welcome to Anna Gledhill Art Studio. I am an abstract artist. I love nature and all type beautiful things. The inspiration for “Imperfect Dancer “ is Zen Buddhism. I created two enso in this painting. I express the beauty of imperfection through my painting. When you look at the whole painting, it looks like rainbow splashing. But it also brings the power of letting go of expectations. Different people see different things in the painting. Hope this painting goes into your heart and speaks for you. Understand you and Bring joy to you. This painting is looking for a new home. I hope that is you❤️ Materials: I used acrylic paints and modelling paste. I covered the painting with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and to add rich shine. I used a brush and palette knife to complete this piece. The canvas is premier/professional gallery quality, and the back is back stapled so that it can be re-stretched by a professional in the future if ever needed. Hi, I am Anna Gledhill, a contemporary abstract artist based in Southern California. The beauty of nature is my inspiration. I started drawing when I was 4 years old and became a full time artist during the epidemic. 7-years-biology & botany study and 6-years-math-teaching experience brings science, physics and biology to my art. I don’t paint what I have seen, I paint what I feel from this world. I love to explore different mediums and find the best color combinations that speak for me. I let color flow and form on its own. Feel the freedom of intuition, then I add circles, swirls, dots and lines to express myself and my deepest feeling. I combine philosophy and science in my painting to build a connection between us and the universe.
