To see and to be seen -New-Vanitas   Kim, Sung-Ho, art critic   Oh HeungBae, artist was engrossed in expressing a part of body closed up very precisely in a series of works named as 〈Bodyscape>. His works that expressed ‘cut upper half of the nude’ or ‘closed up feet wearing high heeled shoes' presented viewers a series of 'unfamiliar visual experience' though they used representation thoroughly. A part of body expanded into a size which is well beyond full size and the top layer of skin that is expressed closely in an excessive manner rather exposes appearance of non-representation and substitutes human body expressed in his work for 'unfamiliar scene' easily. His work is the world of unfamiliarity which is caused by excessiveness of familiarity.
