About The Artwork
In my entire body of work, I think about the construct of time a lot and I try to find ways to depict aspects and ideas of time, timing or the passing of time and how it affects us in our lives as humans. I was inspired by our ability to go back in time in our memory and revisit certain places or moments and how colors, shapes and objects that where there in the past are imprinted in our memory. I tried to make an artwork that is calm and almost meditative. This piece is painted on a deep frame canvas (4,5 cm) in depth and is ready to hang.
