ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting, one of a series, was created with ultimate freedom and flexibility. Simply having fun with my paints and doing whatever came naturally. I think they would all work so well grouped together to create one large feature. The sides of the canvas are painted black to make the image pop even more. The back of the canvas is backed/sealed with a sheet of paper, date stamped, hooked and wired ready to hang, giving an all round professional finish.

I’m an English artist from the Midlands, who now resides in South Australia in the beautiful Adelaide Hills where I display my work in exhibitions and establishments around the state. I enjoy selling to art collectors who have bought and commissioned my work not only locally, but interstate and overseas too. To date, I would say the most popular requests are for my animal illustrations and portraiture which I absolutely love to create for my clients. I also love having fun with using unconventional tools to create lines and patterns across the canvas. Techniques of which I incorporate into my art workshops. Workshops, which I believe, allow a sense of freedom on the canvas, but keep a little bit of order too. I enjoy practicing both realism and abstract impressionism and believe that constant experimentation and good mistakes on the canvas allow me to evolve as an artist.
