About The Artwork
Inspired by meditation and curiosity in the moment, I was thinking about the calming, quiet, satisfaction and stabilizing influence of repeated elements, the circles--and the teal color that might be the sky or sea. I also wanted to play with idea of another few paintings or worlds--and all their changing dynamics that you catch a glimpse of through some of the portholes to other places. I see this as a stand alone work of perceptual play that would work in many spaces--and also can imagine it as part of a dynamic grouping as well. I love wood's surface for drawing and layering.
