In Search of a Rainbow Painting

This artwork is called In Search of a Rainbow and it was painted by me in 2020. It was inspired by Charlie Chaplin's quote: "You will never find a rainbow, if you are looking down". This motivational quote is written in graffiti style on the colorful background, reminding the viewer to focus on the positive. The lion is painted in gray tones to symbolize sadness, however he is looking up, looking for change for inspiration, he is looking for the rainbow. This art piece is fun, painted in a modern semi abstract style and it's offering the inspiration needed to all of us. I always use 1.5" thick gallery wrapped cotton canvas for its durability and 3D effect. The canvas is stretched over high quality pine wood frames and stapled on the back providing a clean finish on the sides.
