Inspired by the poem “In an Artist’s Studio” by Christina Rossetti. This poem, written in 1856, explores the artist’s obsession with a particular female model. The painting is a romantic and fantastical representation of the Muse, an ethereal entity that inspires creativity and artistry. The reclining figure, surrounded by rich hues of blue and purple, symbolizes the enigmatic and elusive nature of inspiration. The studio is not just a physical space but a metaphysical realm where reality blurs into fantasy, and ideas come to life.
