This picture was painted after the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine in 2022. After three months in the west of Ukraine I returned to my home town of Krivoy Rog, where there were constant fights near him. Constant shelling, now the frightening sound of the plane gave me the idea to paint this picture. Despite the presence of bright color. Although the canvas itself does not reflect the military theme, it was written during a difficult period. "In thought networks" is proof that even in war people try to continue to live their lives. Despite the constant shelling, my understanding as an artist remained a very important issue for me. I tried my best to return to creativity and leave something bright on the canvas. The main character of the picture is pressed against the frame, there is not enough space. The whole world is one room.

I've been searching all my life. I seek new algorithms, a new myself, and I explore the fascinating and unknown planet Earth. I love to "fly in the clouds," pondering how humans and the universe are structured. At some point, I realized that most people are a long list of frameworks. They don’t know it by heart, but their gray matter guides them through life, strictly following this list. People like to confine themselves within boundaries... My work is entirely dedicated to save myself and my viewers from such thinking. The paintings I create have no limits. Each time, it’s something new—new ideas and experiments. I love to amaze the viewer and evoke emotions. I enjoy it when questions arise. My goal is to expand people's consciousness using simple artistic materials. Every time I sit down to work, I fully concentrate on what is in front of me. I completely immerse myself in feelings, emotions, and my desire to paint. The colors guide me, portraying my entire inner world on the canvas. Brushes and pencils make my soul dance. Sorrow and grief, joy and comfort, fear, anger, peace, tranquility — every emotion becomes paintings. It seems that being an artist means creating when emotions are overwhelming or absent, when you feel good or bad, creating even when it doesn’t come easily. I never questioned, “Who am I?” because for as long as I can remember, I have been drawing. I love being an explorer, making new discoveries, trying new styles and materials. You can see that the focal point in my paintings often includes characters that convey the idea that "stereotypes are only in our heads," appearing in various forms. And a spot is no longer just a spot as it becomes the essence. I use a variety of materials: acrylic, watercolor, pastel, oil, pencils, and ink. In some of my paintings, I incorporate not only classical artistic materials but also decorative and building materials, such as mounting foam and glue to add volume. There are works where glue and foam become the main materials and eventually the main theme of the painting. My creativity is a constant resigning from stereotypical schemes, continual experiments, a quest for myself and my soul, a fusion of colors and forms into something radically new. I hope that when you see my paintings, you discover something new.
