Initially No.3 Painting

The "Initially" Series is inspired by the current living conditions of various ethnic groups in China. Nowadays, different ethnic groups and races are caught in the tension between their traditional cultures and the rapid advancement of technology. This clash enriches cultural diversity but also creates new social conflicts. These paintings aim to make us think: Should we intervene in the traditional lifestyles of ethnic groups? Do these groups have the right to choose their own way of life? Is there still a need for the label of ethnicity that can't be changed? As an artist, I see myself as a bridge between the individual perspective and the bigger picture. I want to be the mediator at the crossroads of these different viewpoints, using painting as a way to connect the smallest details to the grandest scale. Ultimately, I hope to explore how different races and ethnic groups, when freed from their fixed regional labels, can find a way to integrate into a global identity.
