ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork is inspired in the mangroves at Celestún (in the Yucatán peninsula, Southeastern Mexico) and is part of my collection Nature: A Magnifying View. It is awesome how life expands inside and outside; how we can see some things so clearly and others we can imagine them. It was a challenge to express the both sides of a same reality with its lights, shadows and reflections. The steadiness and the movement at the same time. I hope viewers feels surprise and an inner peace that reconnects them with themselves.
