About The Artwork
Abstract relief painting with paper using the technique called by myself: "solid dripping". A technique that takes inspiration from Jackson Pollock "dripping"... I use that kind of technique in order to express my interior landscape. In this case I was in a period of deep artistic research, looking for inspiration, visionary and full of energy. For this reason I used the combination of black over a fluorescent green with the craquelé painting technique. I used craquelé in combination with a relief surface in order to give depth to the artwork.

Alessandro Malerba born in Verona, Italy, in 1982. He graduated in product design in 2009 at Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, Italy. During his studies he attended the Erasmus program at the London College of Communication for six months. Thanks to this experience he began approaching to art: he started following abstract art and avant-garde movements. Right now, he is involved in searching new aesthetic languages through paintings and installations.
