ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is my first (and so far) only attempt at a painting without words. It had been my intention to use this as a ground for a Beatles song, but when an artist friend saw it he said: "It's finished. Leave it alone". And so I did. I have to say that the painting has grown on me and I will often have it in the back of my mind when I am starting a new work. This really was a happy accident!
