Painting: Oil, Wax, Wood on Wood.
Traveling in the winter, I saw from my car wonderful wind-swept snowy forms and shapes caught in the fences and walls that bordered the sides of country roads as I meandered my vehicle over the hills and into the valleys of northeastern Pennsylvania. This painting was done by combining oil paint and specially prepared cold wax and then appllying it to the surface of a board. The oil/wax mixture is then heated with a propane torch to create blends and values.
