About The Artwork
...a sliding planar hill with sky and sand... This work was inspired by a beautiful beach on Isle of Skye. Nature is not perfect and yet it is still somehow symmetric. This painting is not perfectly planar because there is a slight incline in how the hill on the left transition into the hill on the right. But in the end it all comes together. What I like the most about this painting was the space in the middle. This perspective brings a sense of rising future for me. There is something better beyond the horizon and it is waiting for us.
